Our Mission & Vision
CAMPAWA is dedicated to catalyzing inclusive economic growth in Cameroon by transforming the beauty, health, food, and fashion sectors. We aim to equip 50,000 young Cameroonians, especially women and rural youth, with market-driven skills to launch sustainable micro-enterprises and franchises, significantly reducing youth unemployment.
Our vision is a vibrant Cameroon where empowered youth drive innovation and economic prosperity in key growth sectors, contributing to sustainable development goals.
The Challenge We Address
Cameroon faces significant youth unemployment (around 30%) and underemployment. Many existing training programs lack market relevance, leaving graduates unprepared for the workforce or entrepreneurship. There's a critical need for practical skills development aligned with high-potential sectors like beauty, health, food, and fashion.
Our Unique Approach
CAMPAWA utilizes a blended learning model combining accessible online modules with hands-on, in-person workshops and an optional practicum. Beyond training, we foster a national ecosystem connecting graduates to finance, markets, mentorship, and policy advocacy, ensuring long-term success and sector development.
A National Initiative
CAMPAWA has evolved beyond an accelerator into a comprehensive national initiative. We are building pillars for sustainable sector growth, including research hubs, quality standards, market linkages (including export focus), access to finance partnerships, policy dialogue, and a supportive digital ecosystem.
